Business energy

We quote gas and electricity for UK businesses and run the switch. We watch your renewal date so nobody moves you onto a worse rate. Our fee is 1.5p per kWh, both fuels, every contract length, printed on your quote before you sign. If your current deal beats the market, we say stay put.

The UK averages for Q1 2026 are 24.14p per kWh for electricity and 5.17p for gas, both including the Climate Change Levy (DESNZ, Quarterly Energy Prices, published 30 June 2026). Those are backward-looking statistics across every size band, not a rate anyone can quote you. How we source numbers is on our pricing methodology.

Gas or electricity or both

Ofgem's guidance says you will usually have a contract for each type of energy you use (Ofgem, checked August 2026). So business gas and business electricity are two contracts, even when one supplier bills both and sends one set of paperwork.

Quotes

To price your sites we need a postcode and your meter numbers off a recent bill. Digging the bill out is the annoying part; the rest takes a few minutes. Start at business energy quote, where the price is reconfirmed with you before anything is signed.

Switching

Switching changes who bills you. Nobody visits the property and the meter stays where it is. Timings, and what your old supplier is allowed to do about it, are on switch business energy; the mechanics in order are in how to switch business energy.

Renewals

Contracts end on a fixed date, and what arrives afterwards is whatever your supplier decides. Ofgem puts deemed rates at around 80% more than a negotiated contract, with roughly one in ten micro-businesses sitting on them, and caps micro-business rollovers at 12 months (Ofgem, checked August 2026). For larger and multi-site businesses

Multi-site energy is a basket of meters with staggered end dates, priced as one job. Energy procurement is that work done deliberately, with a tender across suppliers and a decision your board can read afterwards. We also check invoices against the contract you signed, which is bill validation. Tell us how many sites you have at the quote stage and we will call you back.

What a supplier charges matters more than the name on the bill, though billing accuracy and exit terms cost real money when they go wrong.
